


The two pictures of gardens are at Les jardins suspendus de Marqueyssac - there are 150,000 boxwoods that are cut into the shapes you can see. The gardens of Marqueyssac , listed as a National historical monument, is a private estate dating from the 17th century. After extensive restoration work the gardens were opened to the public in 1997. Today it is the most visited garden in the Dordogne.
The other picture is of a town called Sarlat which is about 10km from our campsite. It is a typical old french town with the original medieval buildings restored. Sorry only 3 pics on this blog but the wi fi conection is not to good so hopefully we will have more on our next blog.
